Sonia Rykiel for H&M

I was the first in line last morning to get my hands on this year’s first H&M designer collaboration! I’ve always liked Sonia Rykiel’s bright stripy sweaters and freakishly cool brooches! The first time, I have 3 sweaters and 3 brooches (and I say the first because there was the second time when my mam dragged me into another H&M store and talked into buying yet another 3 items: black narrow skirt, black pants and a scarf).  If you were not able to get the brooches yourself, you can buy it on ebay:

This item comes with a rare cool Sonia Rykiel bonus notebook, which is a cool find for those of you who needs to keep track of all the fashionable things you need to buy in future as the Paris Fashion Week approaches!

I will gradually post pictures of me wearing those by the way super high quality things I got yesterday!

Cheers!

Objects of Desire: Chanel trompe l’oeil.

They look cool and yet they are not permanent! You can experiment and have fun with those  temporary tattoos by Chanel. I think I’ll have to run to the nearest Holt and Renfrew with hope that I can get one of those trompe l’oeil which, in fact, retail for $75!

Nail polish: Chanel Jade vs OPI

At first I thought: “Oh, Karl, why did you do this to us?” Now I think: “Oh, Karl, you are genius!”

It took me 3 months to realize that green nail polish is not all terrible choice at all! But it was too late. Chanel’s jade went away from stores with the speed of light and my sense of fashion has not yet reached that speed…though I am working on it.

That meant that I needed to find an alternative to that jad-ish green color quickly. Oh boy, it was hard! My obvious choice was OPI, I searched their website for the right color and I did find it.  As usual there was a catch: the name of the color I was looking for was Go On Green!, it’s pale green color on the website but in reality it’s blue/green/sparkly color which was not at what I was aiming for! It did not me too long to figure out yet another alternative, again by OPI, but this time the color was discontinued! As any normal human being, I asked ebay for help. And as usual ebay helped big time! I got that discontinued OPI nail polish within days! And I love it! And I wear it every day!

OPI-hey!-get-in-limePS: the discontinued color is Hey! Get in lime.

Lord of the Rings: knuckle, armor and more…

I’ve always wanted to find that perfect knuckle ring. You would ask what was stopping me from buying it. I can answer you – it’s the price of  somewhat fashionable knuckle ring! I eyed the one from Elizabeth&James, but it’s way too pricey for a simple silver ring! I will be honest I did not look for it very mutinously but every time I passed by some sort of interesting jewelry salon I always stepped inside with that hidden hope that my knuckle ring would be waiting for me there. Just few days ago, I tied on a ring which almost perfectly reflected every aspect of my dreamy ring, but it was too big for any, yes I say any, of my fingers. I kinda lost my hope… And two days ago, I found my ring! It’s super cheap for its massive size (consider that it’s sterling silver) – only $55! And I like it even more than Elizabeth&James’.

It must be my ring week. It’s my last acquisition this week – a really good friend of mine, send me over an amazing armor ring which he bought over ebay. He said that the moment he saw it, he immediately thought of me! And, indeed, this ring looks almost exactly like my old Vivienne Westwood one (I lost it during my Europe trip last year)! How cool is that?

Good people.

It’s always good to know that there are good people with open heart who can’t pass by an animal in trouble! Thumbs up for Sandra Bullock who tried to save this lost little dog! This picture just made my day!
